IT PROJECT MANAGER

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing IT projects, ensuring they align with our strategic goals and deliver tangible business value. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and potentially external vendors to manage scope, timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • - Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • - Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • - Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • - Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints.
  • - Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, identifying critical paths and dependencies.
  • - Monitor project progress, track milestones, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
  • - Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, developing effective mitigation strategies.
  • - Facilitate project meetings, including kickoff meetings, status updates, and lessons learned sessions.
  • - Manage communication effectively with all project stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely information flow.
  • - Manage relationships with external vendors and ensure their deliverables meet project requirements.
  • - Track and report on project performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • - Ensure proper project closure, including documentation and stakeholder sign-off.
Required Skills and Experience:

Education: Relevant University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration with an IT focus, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in managing IT projects of varying complexity.

Project Management Methodologies: Strong understanding and practical application of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).

Project Planning Tools: Proficiency in using project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, Trello).

Budget Management: Proven ability to manage project budgets effectively, track expenses, and report on financial status.

Risk Management: Experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks and issues.

Stakeholder Management: Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships.

Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present project information clearly and concisely.

Leadership: Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and guide project teams.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address project challenges effectively.

Organization and Time Management: Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Industry Certifications (Highly Desirable):
  • - Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from PMI.
  • - Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)® or other Agile certifications.
  • - PRINCE2® certification.
